I specialize in a natural, baby-led style of newborn photography that is organic, pure, and minimalistic. I believe that newborn babies are perfect just the way they are, so my focus is on capturing your baby, your family and the love and emotions surrounding this special time, without extra props or distractions. We don't want to ball-wrap the baby, we want to adore all the tiny details and wrinkles.

The Studio

My cozy home studio is filled with natural light for the best, most natural-looking images. Everything is thoughtfully prepared to ensure a stress-free and enjoyable experience for you and your baby.

A limited selection of elegant and very flattering maternity and postpartum dresses is also available to help you feel your best during your session.

THE SESSION

In the studio, I’ll gently guide you through a flow of natural poses with your baby, as well as photograph your baby alone, focusing on the tiniest and most cherished details. We’ll capture the delicate features you adore: flaky skin, tiny fingers and toes, and the way they instinctively nestle into you. We will also take feeding breaks as needed.

BEST TIMING FOR NEWBORN PHOTOS

My photography style allows me to photograph newborns from birth and up to around 3 months old. However, timing can influence the look and feel of your images.

No matter when you choose to schedule your session, the focus is always on your baby’s comfort and capturing natural, meaningful moments for your family.

5-14 days new

If you’re dreaming of those very sleepy, curly, womb-like poses, the ideal window is within the first 5-14 days of life. During this time, babies tend to sleep more deeply and are easier to gently pose. While it can be a little more challenging for new parents to venture out so soon after birth, sessions during this window are typically smoother and allow for the greatest variety of poses, as babies tend to be sleepier and more naturally curled up.

3-6 weeks new

Around 3-6 weeks is a beautiful stage when babies are still tiny and often sleepy, but also a bit more rounded, with sweet expressions and occasional smiles. Sessions at this age often include a beautiful mix of sleepy portraits and more alert moments, capturing both those precious newborn details and the beginnings of your baby's emerging personality. The flow of the session may be a little more baby-led, with extra time for feeding and soothing, but we can still create a gorgeous gallery that celebrates these fleeting early weeks. This timing can also feel more comfortable for parents, giving mom a little extra time to recover and settle into a rhythm.

6 weeks to 3 months new

If your baby is between 6 weeks and 3 months old, the session will have a slightly different feel than a traditional newborn session. At this age, babies are often more alert, expressive, and curious about the world around them. While they may not stay asleep long enough for any of the classic curled-up newborn poses, we can capture beautiful eye contact, sweet expressions, stretches, yawns, and genuine interactions with parents. These sessions tend to be more baby-led and focus on connection, personality, and documenting this unique stage of development.

THE WARDROBE

For your convenience, I provide a beautiful selection of soft, neutral-toned knits and wraps for your baby (most items fit babies 0-1 month old best). These timeless pieces ensure your little one is cozy and complement the natural, minimal style of my photography.

For the rest of the family, I recommend wearing whites and neutral shades to achieve the soft, harmonious look you see in my images. Simple, comfortable clothing without bold patterns or bright colors helps keep the focus on your connection and the beauty of these fleeting moments. You'll receive a more detailed styling guide after session is booked

THE PROCESS

1. Reservation

Inquire about the session, and I’ll pencil in a date around your due date. Once your baby arrives, we’ll confirm the exact session date. Although my style allows to photograph babies of any age, the first two weeks after baby is born is ideal time for curly sleepy shots. To reserve your spot, a $250 retainer is required. The remaining balance is due one week before your session day.

2. Editing

Editing is an essential part of my artistic process. You won’t see overly smoothed or “plastic” skin in your baby’s images — I carefully retouch each photo by hand, preserving natural skin texture while gently removing temporary imperfections, such as baby acne, for a timeless and authentic result.

3. Delivery and Choosing Your Images

Your final beautifully edited images will be delivered within two weeks of your session day. I’ll send you a link to a private online gallery, from where you can select and download images included in your package or upgrade to collection with more images. You can then consider purchasing an album or other photo products from the carefully selected art products in my store. Please allow another 2–3 weeks for print products to arrive.
