There’s nothing more beautiful and fascinating to me than the pure joy and the unconditional love parents have for their children.
What made me turn to lifestyle photography was the realization that my favorite photos of my own loved ones aren’t the ones with forced smiles or everyone looking at the camera. It’s the moments when my baby snuggles into me, even if her face is hidden, or when my husband makes our daughters laugh with a silly face. What we feel is more important when we look at those pictures, especially years later. Lifestyle photography is about embracing and living in the moment with your family. It’s a mix of pure documentary images and those involving prompts and some posing, which together tell a beautiful, unique story of your family.
There’s no need for perfect poses, perfect weather or a perfect location to capture the perfect memory. It’s about a snapshot in time - those photos that allow you to hold a feeling in your hands.
